The payout rate varies ad to ad but usally falls in the range of $.05 to $.20 per click with some commission based ads. The beauty of this service is that you choose which ads to run and can monitor their performance with their real time stats. A little bit of tinkering can yield excellent results. Safe does take 20% of all your earnings. Also it can be extremely annoying having to take down an ad campaign and replace it typically on 24 to 48 hours notice. You also have to manually enter in the url's of each banner hosted, and when an ad stops running they no longer list where your ad is sending you on a scavanger hunt to find where you had placed them afterwards... Payment always arrived on time.

This pay-per-click network was formerly known as Shout Advertising. This U.K.-based company offers a fairly standard banner network that promises to pay $0.10 for each click-through you receive from the banners you host for them on your site. Payout can go as high as $0.20 if you have a very high traffic site. They claim to have sold out all of their inventory to advertisers such as One and Only, Computainment.com, and International Nutrients. Impressions and click-throughs are measured by their servers, and it should be noted that the HTML code they provide for you to display banners can not be altered in any way. They also offer a referral program that promises to pay you 10% of what each new member you refer earns. This works out to $0.01 per click that they each receive. Online statistics are available, as are email updates. Checks can be issued in either U.S. or U.K. currency, which you choose from your member's page. Checks are issued monthly once you have accrued $50 in commissions. They plan to lower this to $25 in the near future

Click2Net is a relatively new, but fast growing, banner-based pay-per-click services. Similar to SAFE-Audit and ClickTrade, Click2Net allows web sites to set up an affiliate program to attract traffic to their site, or allow web sites to host banner ads for other sites. Becoming an affiliate host site is easy, requiring a minimum of information to begin (you fill in the rest later). Click2Net will screen your web site, and respond within 7 business days. Once you have been accepted you are given access to a members administration site which allows you to choose which ads you would like to appear on your site, and which you would not. All banners are rotated randomly (and hosted on their server), but by being able to select which ads you would like you are offered a fair ability to target the ads to your audience. In fact, if you want, you can leave just one ad selected, so it displays each time. You are also able to generate all HTML from your members page, ready to be inserted into your site. Commission rates range from $0.06 per click up to $0.10 per click, depending on the volume of traffic you provide. Sophisticated online commission tracking is available, allowing you to display statistics on the category of ads you are running (there are currently 55 categories to choose from), and on various time-frames (weekly, hourly, etc.). Additionally, you are able to see how long it takes on average for visitors to click-through to an ad. Checks are sent on the 10th of each month, once $30 has been accumulated.

ClickXChange ClickXChange pay host $.10 per click with many affiliates to choose from and the type of banner to display on your site. Affiliates pay anywhere from $.01-$.10 per click or $2 per referral.

Free-Banners is technically a banner exchange program which allows members to receive free banner ad displays in exchange for hosting banners of other members on their site. Their program pays affiliates in three unique ways. First, you receive 5 credits for your banner to be displayed on their network each time someone clicks a special link promoting the exchange. Second, you will receive a 20% referral 'fee' if those visitors go on to become Free-Banners members themselves. This means that if a new member you refer displays 1000 Free-Banners ads in a week, you will receive 200 free banner displays for your ad. Third, they also pay you $0.10 per new member referred. Although not much, when combined with the other benefits, this makes for a very powerful promotion method for your site. Other benefits include the opportunity to earn 5 credits each time someone clicks-through to evaluate Free-Banners (whether or not they join) and the chance to win a jackpot of 1,000,000 banner displays or runner-up prizes of 50,000 free displays.

Javascripts.Com pays 7 cents-per-click. They pay after you get $10 worth of sign-ups.
